Axisymmetric dynamo action produced by differential rotation, with anisotropic electrical conductivity and anisotropic magnetic permeability

چکیده

The effect on dynamo action of an anisotropic electrical conductivity conjugated to magnetic permeability is considered. Not only the fully axisymmetric, but it requires a simple differential rotation, which twice challenges well-established theory. Stability analysis conducted entirely analytically, leading explicit expression threshold. results show competition between anisotropy and that permeability, becoming impossible if two anisotropies are identical. For isotropic conductivity, Cowling's neutral point argument does imply absence azimuthal component current density, not prevent as long anisotropic.

Magnetic Carbon Nanotubes: Synthesis, Characterization and Anisotropic Electrical Properties

Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) have been the focus of extensive research in recent years due to their exceptional mechanical, thermal, and electrical properties (Treacy et al., 1996; Lourie et al., 1998; Yu et al., 2000; Lukic et al., 2005). As a result of their nanoscale dimensions and high surface area, CNTs could also be considered as efficient templates for the assembly and tethering of nanopartic...

Anisotropic inverse conductivity and scattering problems

Uniqueness in inverse conductivity and scattering problems is considered. In case the medium consists of two discontinuous constant anisotropic conductive parts, the measurements of potential and induced currents on the boundary of surrounding body are enough to guarantee uniqueness to determine conductivity and region of embedded unknown material under a very weak condition. The analogous uniq...

Hybrid hydrogels containing vertically aligned carbon nanotubes with anisotropic electrical conductivity for muscle myofiber fabrication

Biological scaffolds with tunable electrical and mechanical properties are of great interest in many different fields, such as regenerative medicine, biorobotics, and biosensing. In this study, dielectrophoresis (DEP) was used to vertically align carbon nanotubes (CNTs) within methacrylated gelatin (GelMA) hydrogels in a robust, simple, and rapid manner. GelMA-aligned CNT hydrogels showed aniso...

Existence and Uniqueness in Anisotropic Conductivity Reconstruction with Faraday’s Law

Abstract. We show that three sets of internal current densities are the right amount of data that give the existence and the uniqueness at the same time in reconstructing an anisotropic conductivity in two space dimensions. The curl free equation of Faraday’s law is taken instead of the usual divergence free equation of the electrical impedance tomography. Boundary conditions related to given c...
